CAMTIC , Costa Rican Chamber of Information Communication and Technologies , and Cenfotec , the Training Center of Information Technologies , recognize the need for local Costa Rican technology companies to better understand and address the business aspects within their companies. Without the appropriate emphasis on good business practices many companies fall short and are unable to sustain themselves.
To counteract this CAMTIC and Cenfotec have taken a forward-thinking stance which emphasizes both new technologies and solid business practices. This allows companies differentiate themselves and potentially reach multi-national markets , in turn promoting the proliferation of the communications and information technology industry in Costa Rica.
To reach these aforementioned goals , CAMTIC and Cenfotec welcomed Tom Evans , Principal of Lûcrum Marketing , to San Jose , Costa Rica. During his visit Mr. Evans spoke about the "Twenty Best Practices to Achieve Product and Market Success."
"The presentation was incredibly well received ," says Mr. Evans "it's great to see companies that want to learn and grow. I have worked with CAMTIC and Cenfotec before and they are amazing hosts and are doing a great job increasing awareness and promoting the growth of the communications and IT industry in Costa Rica. I look forward to working with them in the future."
